2024 Summer Camps
This year we are offering five weeks of summer camps all of which will take place at Alimagnet Fields in Burnsville. Each week of our summer camps are unique, so many players attend multiple weeks! This summer camp is packed with innovative drills, batting practice, defensive drills, mini games, scrimmages, and much more. By attending players will have the opportunity to develop their skills and improve throughout the season. MN Nice Baseball takes great pride in providing excellent baseball instruction in a fun and positive environment. MN Nice Baseball has been offering summer camps and private instruction since 2004! |

OUR SUMMER CAMPS ARE FUN AND OFFER A VARIETY OF DRILLS AND ACTIVITIES
Each week of our summer camps are slightly different as we strive to provide a fun baseball experience. Throughout the course of the summer players may engage in almost 100 different drills, games, and challenges. Examples include: Scrimmages, Home Run Derby, Simulated Hitting Game, 2 Strike Hitting Game, Agility Pop Ups and Grounders, Reaction Ball, Tuesday Hitting Game, Lead Pass Drill, Run Downs, Throw out Game, Grenade Saver, 1-2-3 Pop Ups and Grounders, Goalie Ball, Hard Hit Competitions, Rapid Fire Throwing Drills, Variety Soft Toss, Fielders vs. Runners, and way more! Players are guaranteed to participate in fun and effective baseball activities when they attend our camp!
OUR COACHING STAFF IS AMAZING and we have an EXCELLENT PLAYER/COACH RATIO
Owner and Lead Instructor Tim Thoreson has been conducting summer camps since 2004, giving him years of experience running summer camps. Coach Tim is also a K-8 Grade Physical Education teacher which allows him to work with young athletes almost daily. These experiences give Tim the ability to manage a safe, fun, and educational baseball experience that appeals to all ages. Helping Tim run these camps are local high school and college baseball players who have a great passion for the game and enjoy sharing their baseball knowledge with young ballplayers. Typically our player/coach ratio is right around 7/1.
OUR CAMPS IS ONE OF THE BEST WAYS TO ENHANCE SKILL
When kids attend our camps they will get reps! Many times once summer games begin baseball teams are limited on practices. Kids often show up to their games, play catch, take a little batting practice, then play. This process simply does not allow kids to get enough practice. At MN Nice Baseball Summer Camps players participate in an elite throw and catch routine every day that will promote defensive skills. They will also practice hitting and defensive drills. Our scrimmages allow players the opportunity to learn about game situations as well. Some kids come every week, thus obtaining hundreds of additional reps that will help them reach their full baseball potential.
KIDS RETURN YEAR AFTER YEAR
Parents always comment, "How do you remember all the names of these kids?" The truth is that so many kids come back year after year, that Coach Tim and the coaching staff only need to learn the names of just a few players as we've already met so many. Once a player attends our summer camp, they generally come back, many times bringing a new friend. One of the neatest things about coaching at the MN Nice Baseball summer camps is watching the vast improvement in the players from year to year.

Alimagnet is conveniently located in Burnville just off of County Rd. 42 very near Apple Valley and Lakeville as well. Alimagnet boasts several fields, and batting cages.
